Steven Luke NBC 7

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:26-28

Helps us in our weaknesses. What makes the list guys? If you are honest

We don’t know how to pray. God answers prayers when we don’t even know what to pray. He clearly has our best interests at heart

He is working for the good for us in all things

Why is this a phrase you don’t want to use when counseling someone through grief?

How is it a phrase we can hold on to in tough times?

So is God the one causing all this grief to grow us?

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Matthew 5:43-45

Steve how have you seen good come from this pandemic?
